Neriage Black Stripes Vase

This is a vase featuring spiral black and white stripe patterns.
It's made by stacking layers of white and black porcelain, creating striped slabs, and then forming them into a cylindrical shape using a potter's wheel. The method of using this Neriage and Nerikomi technique is highly unusual even in the realm of studio ceramics.
With an impression reminiscent of licorice-flavored striped candy, it exudes a simple yet modern aesthetic with a touch of 70s pop style.
Its vase shape makes it easy to use as a flower holder, and its color scheme complements any flower color. Additionally, its eye-catching appearance makes it unique as a decoration for shelves or tabletops.
*Because they are handmade, patterns and sizes vary slightly depending on the individual.

Care Information
- Hand wash: Most of Saori M Stoneware items are dishwasher-safe, but hand washing is recommended. Please use mild soap and warm water. Avoid harsh chemicals or metal sponges that can scratch the surface of the glaze or clay.
- Avoid extreme temperature changes: Sudden changes in temperature can cause handmade ceramics to crack or break. Avoid placing ceramics directly on a stovetop or in the oven, as well as placing them in the freezer.
- Do Not Stack: To avoid scratches or chips, use protective padding such like papers, cloth when stacking ceramic dishes or bowls to store.
- Dry Storing: Avoid storing ceramics in a damp or humid environment in long term, as it can cause mold to the piece.
