I transformed paper animal figures into everlasting porcelain.
The blue grid pattern, created using the nerikomi technique, evokes the look of traditional porcelain while turning them into animal figures unlike any you’ve seen before.
Since each piece is handmade, the shapes, patterns, and doodle-like faces of these figures may vary slightly from one to another. Adopt the one that speaks to your heart.
(I plan to expand the collection with more animal designs in the future.)
1. Neko Kitty
The first release features cats — “Neko” means “cat” in Japanese.
There are two types: one in pastel rainbow colors, and another with a sock-like pattern on its paws.
*Because they are handmade, patterns and sizes vary slightly depending on the individual.

Care Information
Care Information
- Hand wash: Most of Saori M Stoneware items are dishwasher-safe, but hand washing is recommended. Please use mild soap and warm water. Avoid harsh chemicals or metal sponges that can scratch the surface of the glaze or clay.
- Avoid extreme temperature changes: Sudden changes in temperature can cause handmade ceramics to crack or break. Avoid placing ceramics directly on a stovetop or in the oven, as well as placing them in the freezer.
- Do Not Stack: To avoid scratches or chips, use protective padding such like papers, cloth when stacking ceramic dishes or bowls to store.
- Dry Storing: Avoid storing ceramics in a damp or humid environment in long term, as it can cause mold to the piece.
