Art Ceramics – Artificial Geology

These sculptural flower vases are rooted in my concept that ceramics are a form of artificial stone.
While natural minerals form over vast geological time, deep within the earth, ceramics are shaped by human hands and transformed by fire in a matter of hours—an accelerated geology.
